We are crazy about kids at Ridgeland! To us, kids ministry shouldn’t be babysitting where we just keep them quiet and out of the way. Instead, we believe the best and most critical time to connect a person’s story to God’s story is during childhood. We say Ridge Kids is where the story begins. We do everything we can to make the Ridge Kids’ weekend experience fun, exciting and engaging!

What to Expect
Kids are invited to join their parents in service during the opening worship songs. We place a high value on kids seeing their parents model worship to them. Most services include an engaging children’s message before kids are released to Sunday School.
In Sunday School, kids will experience a fun and caring atmosphere. Our typical lessons include ice breaker games designed for connection, a Bible teaching, and crafts and activities to help reinforce the lesson and main Bible point.
EVENTS FOR KIDS
Throughout the year, we plan different events for kids from Art Camps to Christmas Plays. In addition to helping kids grow in their faith, we think it’s important to help them get connected with a community that will support, encourage, and help them live out their faith. Our events are designed to help kids have fun and build strong long-lasting connections.
